Hi, I’m Jideobi Ezeonu, a pediatric occupational therapist and the owner of EzPlay Therapy Services.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Child Psychology from Edinboro University before completing my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. I am licensed in New Jersey and New York.
In addition to providing home-based services, I currently work as an occupational therapist within the New York City Department of Education where I support students across a wide range of needs, such as autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, fine/gross motor weakness, visual motor/perceptual deficits, among others. I also have experience in home-based pediatric settings, working with children ages 0–18.
My approach is practical, engaging, and family-centered. I believe therapy should build real-life skills that translate into everyday routines — at home, in school, and in the community. By working in a child’s natural environment, we focus on meaningful progress that lasts beyond the session.
Outside of work, I enjoy soccer, football (Go Giants!), running, gaming, music, reading, and spending time with family, my fiancée, and our two dogs. I look forward to partnering with your family to support your child’s growth, independence, and confidence.
